The moon door of the Eyrie may not feature in the "Game of Thrones" Season 4. The famous execution method of the House Arryn was first encountered by Tyrion Lannister; it may however make a return in the future.

The sets of the castle Eyrie are being taken down, including the famous moon door. It has been one of the oldest sets built for the "Game of Thrones." There were no trick shots or VFX for the walls seen in the scenes of the Eyrie.

Fans who have been keenly following the series will remember that when Tyrion Lannister was accused of attempting to murder Catelyn Stark's son, he was threatened with execution. The method would have been to be thrown from the moon door.

Tyrion however survived the incident when his champion killed the champion chosen by Lysa Arryn in single combat. Lysa Arryn's son wanted to see "the little man fly," referring to Tyrion. Fans of Tyrion were glad that it did not happen.

What is the production crew building in the place of the Eyrie castle set? There are calling it a "secret." Perhaps viewers can only discover the secret when the "Game of Thrones" Season 4 airs.

There is some speculation that the new set could be the throne room of Daenerys Targaryen. The mother of dragons is expected to make the city of Meereen her new home and learn how to rule a city before marching on to the seven kingdoms of Westeros.

Viewers who are disappointed that the moon door may not feature in the "Game of Thrones" Season 4, need not be disappointed for long. The moon door has a vital role to play in the next season.

Petyr Baelish also known as Little Finger will make an attempt to become the lord of the Vale. Readers will remember he was asked by Tywin Lannister to seek a marriage alliance with Lysa Arryn and deliver the Vale to the Lannisters in the previous season.

Petyr Baelish will marry Lysa Arryn only to push her off the moon door and rule in her son's name. He is finally going to get what he has always wanted - a title, a strong castle and an army, making him a strong player in the "Game of Thrones" Season 4.
