In the books, Daenerys and Daario do not wed. A twist unfolds, and Dany goes missing. But they do become lovers. Ser Jorah is devastated, and Dany decides their journey together is over. However, HBO's Game of Thrones' showrunners might depart from the specifics of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire."
