"Game of Thrones" Season 4 Episode 1 begins with the death of an important character. The expected deaths can send shock waves to all viewers. This could be the biggest season yet from the popular TV series.

Tywin Lannister

There is a saying in Westeros about Tywin Lannister and gold. This will be tested as the character is expected to be murdered in one of the most unexpected places. Who would want to murder him? There is a long list of people who wish him to be dead but it need not necessarily be his enemies who will kill him. He has successfully antagonized many people within the castle and one of them will finally act on the anger against him in "Game of Thrones" Season 4.

Balon GreyJoy

One of the main reasons the north is in such disarray, Balon Greyjoy has put the Stark family in turmoil with his rebellion. But he may not live long enough to be called a king and may be the first to go in Episode 1. "Game of Thrones" fans who have been following the series will remember that Melisandre had also named Balon Greyjoy while burning the leaches. His death will bring in a powerful new character to vie for the throne.

Lysa Tully

After the death of her husband, Lysa Tully has been looking for love but perhaps her quest for love will lead to disaster as her new husband is expected to take her life to inherit her title, lands, castle and armies.

Joffrey Baratheon

One of the most hated characters in the "Game of Thrones" is Joffrey Baratheon. His blood thirst and torment of Sansa has earned him the scorn of many viewers. But his reign of terror will soon be put to an end.

Shae

The sweet little girl who seems to love Tyrion Lannister may not be as sweet as she seems. "Game of Thrones" Season 4 may be the last for her. Tyrion Lannister will be in some big trouble this season and will need some strong loyalty and support to live.
