"Game of Thrones" Season 4, Episode 9 airs June 8 on HBO. The penultimate episode of the season centres on Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington). The stories of Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) move forward, as well.

Spoiler alert: This feature contains spoilers on Game of Thrones Season 4. Episode 9, titled "The Watchers on the Wall," airs this Sunday. Read at your own risk. Watch the GOT 4x9 promo video below.

Game of Thrones Season 4 on HBO is showing parts of the ending of "A Storm of Swords," the third book in the series "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin. Those who have not read the books are in for some major shockers.

Tyrion Lannister leaves Westeros at the end of the season. The GOT Season 4 finale is likely to show this development on HBO. In Episode 9, Tyrion kills Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance). If the TV adaptation is sticking to GRMM's story, Tyrion kills Shae (Sibel Kekilli), too.

Arya Stark nearly reunites with her sister Sansa in Game of Thrones Season 4, Episode 8. In the books, Arya leaves her captor Sandor Clegane aka The Hound (Rory McCann) to die. This could happen in the TV series, too, as Clegane's wound gets worse.

Jon Snow and Ygritte (Rose Leslie) are able to reunite, albeit under unfavourable circumstances. The Night's Watch battles the wildlings, most likely in GOT 4x9. Episode 8 hinted the wildlings are already closing in on The Wall. The episode title also suggests there are Jon-centric developments in Episode 9.

Daenerys Targaryen banishes Ser Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) in Game of Thrones Season 4, Episode 8. Emilia Clarke told Entertainment Weekly the scene was difficult for her because "what Dany is doing is wrong." Little is told about Dany in 'A Feast,' so HBO is expected to fast-track the storyline of the "Mother of Dragons."

Some of the early developments in "A Feast for Crows" (Book 4) and "A Dance With Dragons" (Book 5) are also expected to show in HBO's Game of Thrones Season 4. The finale is widely expected to be exciting and epic as usual.
