Game of Thrones Season 5 Spoilers: Daenerys Targaryen vs Yezzan, Nymeria Sand Actress Announced at Comic Con 2014
More "Game of Thrones" Season 5 spoilers are coming in, thanks to the show's panel at the San Diego Comic Con 2014. It looks like Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen will be seeing a lot of Enzo Cilenti as the Yezzan actor on HBO. Meanwhile, the real Nymeria Sand actress, Jessica Henwick, has been named, too.

George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series, from which HBO's Game of Thrones is based, has a lot of fascinating things to say about the Sand Snakes, the eight daughters of the late Prince Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal). In GOT Season 5, viewers expect to meet them all. Nymeria Sand happens to be a common favourite among many fans.
At the 2014 San Diego Comic Con, Game of Thrones Season 5 casting announcements were made, adding more to fans' GOT 5 spoilers compilation. An unconfirmed report was also corrected in the process: Keisha Castle-Hughes is playing Obara Sand, not Nymeria as earlier speculated in a New Zealand Herald report.
Jessica Henwick ["Spirit Warriors," "North by Northamptonshire," and "Silk," (among others)] snagged the role of Nym. Both Obara and Nymeria are expected to seek vengeance for their father. It remains to be seen how HBO would tweak the book characters to fit the Game of Thrones Season 5 TV timeline.
Meanwhile, actor and producer Enzo Cilenti is playing Yezzan, a powerful slave trader in Yunkai. The Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, has set Yunkai free in Game of Thrones Season 4. Fans can expect Daeny and Yezzan in fiery confrontations.
Game of Thrones Season 5 marks the beginning of Daenerys' leadership journey without Ser Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen). As Dany faces a new likely-to-be-ruthless enemy, fans might miss a familiar dynamic. Then again, if there is anyone in the HBO series who quickly adapts to changes, it is Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen.
Aside from the vengeance-seeking Sand Snakes and the Yunkai big bad, fans have a lot to look forward to in Game of Thrones Season 5. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is ruling Castle Black, and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) is on her way to Braavos. Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) is leaving completely the powerful life he used to enjoy. What happens next to everyone else is all together exciting.
Game of Thrones Season 5 is expected sometime in the late Q1 or early Q2 of 2015.
