HBO’s epic fantasy series “Game of Thrones” finally confirmed its Season 5 premiere date on April 12 following its original time slot at 9 p.m plus a new teaser featuring Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage). With a few more months to wait before it’s highly anticipated premiere, the network revealed its mystery special titled “Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life” which covers one day of GOT Season 5’s production in three different locations.

The hour-long documentary feature the sets in three different countries – Belfast, Northern Ireland; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Sevilla and Osuna, Spain – that promises to highlight the renowned HBO set and ensemble cast. The HBO mystery special is scheduled on Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. days before the Season 4 finale will hit the big screen in IMAX theatres starting Jan. 29.

The upcoming special is not the first time that HBO made a behind-the-scene teaser before the new season premieres, last year’s 15-minute special, “Game of Thrones: Ice And Fire And Foreshadowing” feature scenes from Season 4 production set. Aside from the “Game of Thrones” documentary, the show also released its newest teaser featuring a glimpse of Tyrion Lannister coming out of the box.

The last time fans saw the witty imp was in Season 4’s finale where he made it onto a ship, leaving Cersei and his dead father, Tywin Lannister. Meanwhile, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) is having an adventure on her own without the Hound, while John Snow is trying to defend The Wall against the White Walkers and the Wildlings.

Another trailer displayed a cryptic message for Season 5 as it comes with an image of a coin, a hand, two doors, a boat ride and a sword. Known for killing off some of his major characters, “A Song of Ice and Fire” author George R.R. Martin is feeling the pressure to finish the 6th book as “Game of Thrones” Season 5 will be featuring the book 5 of the franchise.

“There is also some pressure for the author George R.R. Martin as he needs to publish the 6th book of the franchise,” according to Crossmap. “Fans of Game of Thrones are demanding the next book to stop all speculations and theories as to what happens to their beloved characters.”
