Fans of the TV series "Game of Thrones" can expect more deaths in season 5. One of the major deaths may happen in King's Landing. The death may threaten the fragile alliance that the House Lannister has with the Tyrells. [Warning: Spoiler Alert]

The following spoilers are based on the book "A Dance with Dragons," written by George R. R. Martin. The book is part of "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, on which the TV show "Game of Thrones" is based. Readers should however note that the producers of the show have made changes to the plot from the books in the past.

Fans of the franchise who have been following the spoilers of "Game of Thrones" Season 5 may already know that Cersei Lannister is set to lose all power at King's Landing because of her plot against Margaery Tyrell getting backfired. The new regent for Westeros will be Kevan Lannister.

Kevan Lannister will take great pains to mend fences with the House Tyrell and the Faith of the Seven. He will make new appointments to key positions in the kingdom and help secure young Tommen's throne. But his efforts will upset someone's carefully laid out plan.

Kevan Lannister will be assassinated by Lord Varys in "Game of Thrones" Season 5. The master of spies will want to stop the new regent from strengthening the power of the House Lannister. Lord Varys will support a new contender for the throne, Aegon Targaryen.

Readers may not get to see Aegon Targaryen in "Game of Thrones" Season 5 arriving in Westeros. He is the son of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen of the previous dynasty that ruled Westeros. He was long presumed dead but was secretly raised to become a king one day.

Lord Varys will use a crossbow to kill Kevan Lannister. His aim is to create distrust and conflict among the major Houses in Westeros and create sufficient chaos for Aegon Targaryen to conquer the lands with relative ease. This death in "Game of Thrones" Season 5 will cripple the already weak House Lannister. Fans of the franchise have already seen the death of Tywin and Tyrion escape from Westeros in the previous season.
