Ramsay Bolton may play an important role in "Game of Thrones" Season 5. The character gained significance in the last season with his capture of Moat Cailin and getting his father's last name. Here is a look at what to expect from the character in the upcoming season. [Warning: Spoiler Alert]

With the success of taking over Moat Cailin, Ramsay Bolton will now move to become Lord of Winterfell. Fans of the franchise will remember this to be the title held by the head of the Stark family. But Ramsay will find a way to legitimise his claim and demand the loyalty of all the remaining Stark bannermen.

According to the books written by George R. R. Martin, on which the TV show is based, Ramsay Bolton will wed a girl called Jeyne Poole and proclaim her to be Arya Stark throughout Westeros. He will invite the bannermen of the Starks to the wedding at Winterfell in "Game of Thrones" Season 5.

But his cruel nature will leave the girl sobbing many times. The Stark bannermen will not take kindly to the "daughter" of Ned Stark tortured by the Boltons, especially after what happened to both Ned and his son Robb.

Word will quickly reach Jon Snow about the condition of his "sister." He will send Mance Rayder to rescue his "sister." Jeyne Poole will escape the clutches of Ramsay and make her way towards Stannis Baratheon's camp in "Game of Thrones" Season 5. Readers will remember that Stannis has reached the north with his army and helped the men of the Night's Watch against the Wildlings.

"Game of Thrones" Season 5 will set the stage for the eventual battle between Stannis Baratheon and Ramsay Bolton. Readers may not get to see the actual battle in this season but may become familiar with the troubles Ramsay will face in Winterfell, before the battle.

There will be a spurt of mysterious deaths in Winterfell in "Game of Thrones" Season 5. The deaths will come at a time when the Bolton's forces prepare for an assault by Stannis Baratheon's army. But the heavy snow storm makes it difficult to track the enemy's movements and food will start to get scarce. The situation will be enough to put some fear in the heart of Roose Bolton. Will the Boltons finally pay for the Red Wedding? Please leave your comments below.
