‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 Spoilers: Shooting A Prison Scene And Sansa Stark’s Traumatic Experience
The producers of "Game of Thrones" Season 5 shared some of the difficulties they faced while filming a scene. The upcoming season will be featuring a prison scene, but the producers did not reveal the cast members featuring in the scene. Meanwhile, Sophie Turner spoke about a traumatic scene involving Sansa Stark. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]
The script for the scene in "Game of Thrones" Season 5 was supposed to be for a tiny prison cell. However, the Dragon Unit that was tasked with filming the scene was not able to fit in all the crew members who were involved behind the scenes. Two walls in the prison set had to be taken out to accommodate the crew.
The identity of the prisoner was kept a secret by the producers. But according to the books written by George R. R. Martin, on which the TV show is based, one character that may be seen in a prison in the upcoming season is Davos Seaworth. Fans of the franchise who have watched the previous season will remember the character hiring the services of Salladhor Saan.
Davos will be sent to the city of White Harbour to gain the support of Lord Wyman Manderly. He will find that the envoys from House Frey will already be present at court and Lord Manderly will have Davos arrested to appease his guests.
Davos, however, will meet with Lord Manderly later in secret. The lord of White Harbour will have one demand of Davos in order for him to swear allegiance to Stannis Baratheon. He will want the former smuggler to find Ned's son Rickon Stark. The location of the young boy will be revealed to be the island of Skagos in "Game of Thrones" Season 5.
Meanwhile, Sophie Turner spoke to a reporter at the British Independent Film Awards. The video of the interview was posted on the HeyUGuys YouTube channel. The actress said that there was one scene in the upcoming season that she really liked and that it was "super, super traumatic." She further said that the scene was difficult for the crew members on the set to watch.
Will Sansa Stark kill someone in "Game of Thrones" Season 5? Sophie Turner did not reveal anything about the scene, but the fans of the franchise are already speculating what she could have meant. The actress also said that the new season will be going in a darker direction. Will Petyr Baelish or Robin Arryn die in the upcoming season? Or was the actress hinting at something else?
