There are two important women in Tyrion's life. One was ignored in the previous seasons of "Game of Thrones" TV show by the producers, and there is no indication that the other one will be featuredin the upcoming season 5 either. Here is a look at who these two women are and what they mean to Tyrion. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

The following spoilers are based on the books written by George R. R. Martin, and for those who have not read the books, the information in this article will contain spoilers. Readers who only wish to know about the important elements from the books that were not featured in "Game of Thrones" TV series may find the information relevant.

In the very first season of "Game of Thrones," Tyrion discussed his first wife, Tysha, and how she turned out to be a whore hired by his brother Jaime Lannister. According to the story, Tywin Lannister had made Tyrion watch as the Lannister guards raped Tysha.

However, fans who only watched the TV show and did not read the books don't know that on the night of Tyrion's escape, Jaime confessed to Tyrion that Tysha was not a whore and Tywin had forced him to make a false confession to break the marriage. The rage and guilt that Tyrion felt was the main driving force for him to kill his father in "Game of Thrones" Season 4.

Even after killing his father, Tyrion is driven by the words "wherever whores go." These were the words with which Tywin described the whereabouts of Tysha. Tyrion, in the books, repeats these words often and thinks of trying to find Tysha.

Another girl that Tyrion was supposed to meet in "Game of Thrones" Season 5 is Penny. She is a dwarf woman who earns a living by entertaining others. Tyrion develops a deep friendship with the kind-hearted young woman.

Tyrion's association with the performer Penny also takes him a step closer to meeting Daenerys Targaryen. Although Penny may not feature in "Game of Thrones" Season 5, viewers may find Tyrion joining a mercenary army trying to enlist support for Daenerys Targaryen.
