At least two Sand sisters have completed their filming for "Game of Thrones" Season 5. Some of the other actors, however, continue to film their parts. Here is a look at who the two sisters are and what to expect from them in the upcoming season. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

Both Keisha Castle-Hughes and Jessica Henwick have completed filming their scenes in "Game of Thrones" Season 5. The two actresses made the announcement on their respective Twitter accounts, as reported by Watchers On The Wall. They play the role of the Sand sisters who are the love children of the character Oberyn Martell.

This will be the first time that the viewers will be seeing the Sand sisters on screen. The Sand sisters are from the kingdom of Dorne, the kingdom ruled by the House Martell. Just as the bastard children in the north get the surname Snow, people in the southern kingdom of Dorne name their love child as Sand.

Keisha Castle-Hughes will be playing the role of Obara Sand in "Game of Thrones" Season 5. According to the books written by George R. R. Martin, on which the TV series is based, she is the eldest daughter of Oberyn Martell. Obara, however, may not command the same respect as Nymeria because her mother is not a noble woman.

Obara Sand is, however, a strong character, and readers may get to see her use her whip to good effect in "Game of Thrones" Season 5. The character is known for her quick temper and a warrior-like temperament. She does not believe in being diplomatic and makes her displeasure known about any issue immediately.

Jessica Henwick will be playing the important role of Nymeria Sand. She will be chosen to take her late father's place at the small council in King's Landing by Prince Doran. According to the books, she is one of the characters most eager to exact revenge on the Lannisters for the death of her father Oberyn Martell.

Both actresses, Keisha and Jessica, tweeted about having travelled to three countries to film their scenes in "Game of Thrones" Season 5. Keisha has said that she has been filming for six months and has flown for over 200 hours for her role, while Jessica has been filming for five months.
