The episode, titled “No One,” stated in its synopsis that Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) will consider his options, while Cersei will answer a request. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) will finally reap the fruit of his plan. Arya (Maisie Williams) will be heading on a new mission.
Watchers on the Wall writes that after bearing with the Sparrows for too long, Cersei may finally deal with the matter with violence. The episode trailer showed Cersei confronting the Faith Militant and her cousin and former lover, Lancel (Eugene Simon). The Mountain was also shown fighting. Will Cersei go against her son, King Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman) to get rid of the Sparrows for good?
Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) and Jaime will also have a reunion at Riverrun, although it is still uncertain whether they will be working with or against each other. The Hound was featured swinging an axe to get revenge, after his peaceful group was murdered by raiders. There are rumors that Clegane may battle The Mountain in the next episode.
In images from Episode 8, Tyrion and Lord Varys (Conleth Hill) were shown walking peacefully on the streets of Meereen, which can indicate an unpleasant occurrence. Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) may return soon.
In the meantime, Arya and the Waif (Faye Marsay) will fight again, after she survived the last ordeal. She will be embarking on a new quest soon, most likely to be reunited with her family.
Based on the trailer, Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Sansa (Sophie Turner) and their forming army may not be featured in Episode 8.
ScreenRant writes that more of Jon, Sansa and Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) may be shown in Episode 9, titled “The Battle of the Bastards.”
Mark Mylod directed “No One,” which will air on June 12, 2016 on HBO. There are three more episodes remaining in Season 6. More updates and details on “Game of Thrones” are expected soon.
