'Game of Thrones' Season 6: New cast member met Kit Harington on the set

A new cast member who has just joined “Game of Thrones” Season 6 has revealed that he got to meet Kit Harington on the set. The fate of Jon Snow has been one of the most talked about aspect of the show this time around and the revelation may give a clue about the future of the character.

Matteo Elezi is expected to play a young Benjen Stark, WinterIsComing reports. In an interview with BBC, the actor revealed that he has an action sequence in the HBO fantasy series. The scene is speculated to be that of a young Benjen practicing sword fight with a young Ned Stark. The flashback scene may be something that Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) will see in his visions.

Elezi had to travel to Ireland to film his scenes. The young actor said that he had to wear heavy winter clothes, even though it was summer in Ireland at the time of shooting. This suggests that the “Game of Thrones” Season 6 flashback scene is definitely set in the north and maybe in Winterfell.

Talking about meeting some of the other big cast members on the show, Elezi said that he got an opportunity to meet with Harington while he was getting a haircut. Elezi was casually chatting with Harington and it was only later that he realised that he was playing Jon Snow on the show. The young actor described his meeting with Harington as “awesome.”

So far Jon Snow has only been seen as a dead body on the show and the fans have been feverishly speculating on who would bring him back to life and how. Elezi’s interview suggests that Jon Snow may still have a big role to play in the future episodes of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 and may not remain a dead body for long.
