'Game Of Thrones' Season 6: New leaked photos from Girona show streets being transformed; New actors join cast
Leaked pictures and a video from the production set of “Game of Thrones” (“GOT”) Season 6 show the crew members busy preparing the sets. Some of the pictures show one of the roads being converted into a market for the TV series with various props being placed on the set.
Spain appears to have attracted a lot of tourists who are eager to see some of the filming locations of the show. A video from the set posted on TV Girona shows the crew preparing the sets and the curious tourists watching from a distance. The set appears to be that of a market place.
More pictures from this set have been posted on Diari de Girona and they show how the crew members are trying to create the look of a medieval market for the popular TV series. The crew also erected a few enclosures around the set to stop people from walking in.
Apart from creating and placing the relevant props on the set, the show’s crew members can be seen cleaning some of parts of the set. It is not clear whether the location is being used to depict King’s Landing on “Game of Thrones” Season 6 or if it will be seen as a different part of the fantasy world on the show.
Filming of “GOT” is currently underway in Northern Ireland and new characters are expected to be added in the next season. A few actors have already revealed their minor roles in the next season.
Actor Andrew Bryan has posted on his resume on Spotlight that he will be playing the role of a Bolton officer in the next season. Tristan Heanue will be playing an unspecified role in the next season of the popular fantasy TV series, according to a report by O’ Sullivan the actors agent. Another actor John Hawk will be appearing in two episodes of the next season, playing an unspecified role, Visir reports.
“Game of Thrones” Season 6 is slated to air sometime in April 2016. Some of the cast members of the show include Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark).
