‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 spoilers: After Hodor, focus shifts to King’s Landing; High Sparrow won’t give up so easily [Video]
“Game of Thrones” Season 6, episode 6 will shift focus to King’s Landing where the Faith Militant will be challenged by the Lannisters and the Tyrells. After episode 5’s heartbreaking ending where Hodor’s (Kristian Nairn) truth was revealed and he lost his life too, episode 6 will take viewers to King’s Landing. The High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) will be facing a large army and it will be interesting to see if the Faith Militant survives or perishes.
[Spoiler Alert] There is a possibility of an epic battle in episode 6, titled “Blood of My Blood,” as Cersei (Lena Headey) and brother Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) swear bloodshed due to the disgrace Faith Militant has brought to their family. The Tyrells have joined hands with the Lannisters, keeping their differences aside, to save Queen Margaery (Natalie Dormer) from taking the Walk of Shame.
“We shall take them without mercy. Show them what we do to our enemies,” Cersei says when Jaime blames the High Sparrow for tearing the Lannisters apart.
However, the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) is not a man to be trifled with. If his diplomatically brainwashing words don’t help, he too has his army of common men by his side. He too can unleash wrath if he so wishes.
The “Game of Thrones” episode 6 preview shows the High Sparrow addressing the people where he points out that Margaery “disgraced her House, her King,” while Lannister-Tyrell army prepares for an onslaught. Bloodshed is evident and one wrong step by the Lannisters and Tyrells may put Margaery’s life in mortal danger.
The trailer also shows Meera (Ellie Kendrick) desperately trying to save Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) from the White Walkers. Hodor held the door for long to give Bran and Meera a head start. Meera is in tears and without support as Bran seems to be still in a trance.
The trailer then jumps to Gilly (Hannah Murray) and Sam (John Bradley-West) who are now in King’s landing. The only problem is that Sam hasn’t told his family that Gilly is a Wildling.
The Mother of Dragons (Emilia Clarke) is brimming with confidence after acquiring the Dothraki army. She will take what she thinks is rightfully hers.
