'Game of Thrones' Season 6 spoilers: Ian McShane's character will bring someone back
“Game of Thrones” Season 6 cast member Ian McShane talked about his character in the show in a recent interview. The actor is a new cast member of the show and the name of his character has so far not been revealed by the producers.
[Spoiler alert]
In an interview with Pop Goes the News McShane said that he could only give a hint about what his character will do in the next season of the show. The actor teased that his character will be responsible for bringing a character back on the show and said that the returning character is someone that the audience doesn’t expect to see again.
The actor did not give any more details about his character or the character he will help bring back on the show. The report notes that there has been speculation about McShane playing the role of Randyll Tarly or Aeron Greyjoy. However, recent reports have suggested that the actor is not playing either of the above mentioned characters.
McShane will be seen in only one of the episodes of “Game of Thrones” Season 6. The actor said that this was one of the reasons why he accepted the part. McShane expects to reprise his role in the future and so he didn’t want to say anything about his character, as that could mean that he would “never work” in the show again.
Filming for the popular fantasy TV series is currently ongoing in Northern Ireland. According to a report by Watchers On the Wall, one of the scenes will involve siege weapons like a trebuchet and a battering ram. The Lannisters will apparently lay siege to a castle that belongs to the Tullys in the next season.
Kit Harington (Jon Snow) was reportedly spotted in Titanic Studios, suggesting that his character will be back in “Game of Thrones” Season 6. Meanwhile, filming of scenes involving Dothraki riders may have been completed; as actors involved in the scenes posted images on social media after leaving Belfast.
