'Game of Thrones' Season 6 spoilers: Kit Harington jokes 'best work' yet to come
Kit Harington teased his return in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 in a recent interview. The manner of Jon Snow’s return, however, may not be to the liking of the fans. This has been one of the most talked about aspects of the show.
[Spoiler alert]
In an interview with Time Out, Harington (Jon Snow) confirmed that he has filmed “some scenes” for the next season, but those scenes showed him as a dead body. So, there may be a funeral scene of the character in the next season, just as Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister) returned in the previous season.
Harington jokingly said that playing a dead body is some the “best work” that he has done so far. Many of the fans expect Jon Snow to be resurrected from death. The actor kept this hope alive by saying that he knows how long he will be seen as a corpse, but will not reveal it at the moment.
Ian McShane’s character may be the one who will bring Jon Snow back from death in “Game of Thrones” Season 6. As previously reported, McShane confirmed that his character will be bringing back someone who is dead. The actor did not reveal who he will be bringing back to life, but teased that it will be a “beloved” character.
McShane’s character will be seen in only one episode in the next season. If the character is being introduced in the next season with the sole purpose of bringing someone back from the dead, then it has to be an important character.
The producers have already started the countdown for “Game of Thrones” Season 6. There were 50 days left for the next season on March 3rd and the producers suggest that the fans watch the previous 50 episodes of the show, one each day, to prepare for the next season.
50 days. 50 episodes. Countdown to Season 6 with #GoT50.
