‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 spoilers: Sansa Stark to command respect, Sophie Turner teases ‘best season yet’
Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the hit high-fantasy HBO drama “Game of Thrones,” has revealed that she will be having a big season when Season 6 returns. Fans are upbeat about the idea and have breathed a sigh of relief as she has constantly suffered throughout the seasons. It is high time for a payback.
[Spoiler Alert] According to the actress, Sansa will finally get some revenge on her tormentors. She will be commanding the respect she deserves in “Game of Thrones” when Season 6 returns on April 24. Turner has also promised shocking twists and turns and, of course, death.
“You can only suffer so much before she finally gets … the respect that she deserves," Turner told Entertainment Weekly during the SAG Awards 2016 party in Los Angeles. "I mean this season there’s like so many shocks, it’s massive. It’s the biggest season yet,”
The injustice began in “Game of Thrones” Season 1. Back at King’s Landing, Sansa’s dream of marrying a prince soon became a nightmare when King Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) turned out to be hell in the body of a man.
Her father Ned Stark (Sean Bean) was branded a traitor and beheaded after being tricked into believing that his life would be spared if he confessed to his crimes. His then little brother Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) was thrown off a high tower when he saw Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and his own sister Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) in an incestuous encounter.

Sansa’a mother and elder brother got slaughtered by Roose Bolton (Michael McElhatton) and she had to marry his bastard diabolical son Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon).
Needless to say, “Game of Thrones” Season 6 will have many shocks, as revealed by Turner.
“I mean this season there’s like so many shocks, it’s massive," Turner said. "It’s the biggest season yet. And just like in terms of character development, so many people’s storylines, I’m so excited for. I’m so excited to see Alfie’s one this season. It’s going to be good,” Turner said.
