'Game of Thrones' Season 7 leaked pictures show major scene of Ironborn being filmed

Leaked pictures from the production set of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 show the filming of a major scene involving the Ironborn. The Iron islands storyline is expected to play a major role in the power struggle for the Iron Throne after the events of the previous season.

Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan) and Theon (Alfie Allen) teamed up with Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) in the previous season. Their uncle Euron (Pilou Asbæk) is expected to join hands with Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) next year. This makes the Ironborn storyline important in the next season.

Pictures posted on the Twitter page of Purrbot shows Theon being mercilessly beaten by the Ironborn. Yara is nowhere in sight to save her brother. It isn’t clear if these men are supporters of Euron or if there is a rebellion within the Theon faction.

Another picture posted on Twitter shows Theon putting up a fight to defend himself. It is being speculated that the actor in the picture is not Allen, but his stunt double.

Irrespective of who the Ironborn support in the leaked pictures from the “Game of Thrones” Season 7 set, it appears Theon is in for a good beating next year. One of the pictures shows the character being thrown to the ground in the fight.

The Twitter page points out that this scene is being filmed right after the ugly confrontation between Allen’s character and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) that was previously filmed. Theon got away with just some harsh scolding and Jon holding his collar in that scene.

A leaked picture from the “Game of Thrones” Season 7 set shows the continuation of Theon’s beating. Another tweet points out that the character is having a very bad day. Director Jeremy Podeswa was also spotted on the set while this scene was being filmed.
