'Game of Thrones' Season 7: Leaked scene description of action sequences
Details about two important scenes in “Game of Thrones” Season 7 have leaked online. The scenes are related to two major action sequences, involving some of the major armies in Westeros.
[Spoiler alert]
Two major battles are set to take place on the show next year, Watchers on the Wall reports. The first one is that of the Lannister army attacking Highgarden. The army will be able to breech the walls of the castle in the fight, and an action sequence filmed recently apparently showed the Tyrell soldiers fighting off their attackers inside the wall.
While the Tyrells may be on the losing side of the war, things are also not that great for the Lannisters. According to the report, Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) will be leading the army of Unsullied to attack Casterly Rock, which is the ancestral seat of Lannisters.
But, the problems for the Lannister army doesn’t end there. Just as the victorious army is returning back home from Highgarden; Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Calrke) will launch an ambush attack on them. The Queen will be sitting on one of her dragons in this action scene.
The ambush scene is said to be one of the biggest action sequences of the show next year. The shoot apparently involves 500 extras and 100 horses.
Meanwhile, a video posted on the Twitter page of BuzzFeed Entertainment shows how Clarke is taking on the challenges of working on the show. Daenerys will once again be seen speaking in the Dothraki language. The actress can be seen practicing her lines in the video.
The scenes of attack on Highgarden and Casterly Rock are being filmed at Almodóvar del Río Castle, Spain. The ambush scene of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 will be filmed in Malpartida, and the background of Highgarden will be inserted digital in the post production phase.
