'Game of Thrones' Season 7 production update: Emilia Clarke shares picture from Belfast; Castle Black set picture leaks
A picture from the production set of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 has leaked online. The picture is said to be that of Castle Black. Cast member Emilia Clarke has also shared a picture online from Belfast, where filming for the TV series is currently ongoing.
A picture posted on Twitter by Alina shows the production crew preparing to film a scene depicting the north. According to a report by Watchers on the Wall, the familiar pink signs of the TV series were spotted at Magheramorne Quarry. This location has been regularly used to film scenes of Castle Black.
Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) also shared a picture from Belfast. The picture is that of the sunrise, and the actress remarked that the beautiful scenery in the city makes working on a Sunday “adorable,” or it could be the “17” coffees she had. In any case the Mother of Dragons “sure woke up this morning.”

Meanwhile, another team of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 is reportedly busy near Fair Head in Northern Ireland, Watchers on the Wall reports. This location is close to Murlough Bay, which has been used in the past to film scenes for the popular HBO series.
It is not clear which location near Fair Head the production crew is using this time around. Murlough Bay was previously used to film the horse ride of Theon (Alfie Allen) and Yara (Gemma Whelan), Davos’ (Liam Cunningham) rescue after Battle of the Blackwater, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) and Jorah (Iain Glen) meeting slavers and Renly’s (Gethin Anthony) faceoff against Stannis (Stephen Dillane).
“Game of Thrones” Season 7 is set to premiere on June 25, 2017. The delay in the release date is due to the fact that winter has arrived on the show, and the production was delayed to film in the right weather conditions to reflect the weather on the show.
