Production of the popular HBO TV series has been slightly delayed this year. Winter has finally arrived in Westeros, and so the producers wanted to film the scenes for “Game of Thrones” Season 7 under the right weather conditions.
Meanwhile, a new filming location has been added to the list previously announced by HBO, WatchersOnTheWall reports. Some of the scenes of the show will be filmed at Las Atarazanas, the Royal Dockyards of Seville in Spain. The location is said to be a medieval shipyard in Gothic design. The report notes that this may not necessarily be used as a shipyard, and could be used to depict some other places in Westeros like Oldtown.
According to another report by Watchers on the Wall, notices of production have been put up in Zumaia, Bermeo, Trujillo and Malpartida. These are said to be confirmed filming locations for “Game of Thrones” Season 7. Scenes at some of these locations are expected to be shot in November and the shooting will last till December. However, the cast and crew will reportedly spend only two to three days in Bermeo.
