'Game of Thrones' season 7 spoilers: Plot is so 'obvious'; Watch out for dangerous women
Cast member Liam Cunningham teased some details about “Game of Thrones” season 7 in a recent interview. The actor said that the plot this time around is pretty obvious, and teased how the women on the show are the ones to watch out for because they are very dangerous.
The following article contains minor spoilers from the upcoming season of the popular HBO TV series. Fans who do not wish to know anything about the plot are advised to stop reading.
In an interview with IGN Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) said that with the threat of the White Walker invasion it is pretty obvious that no House in Westeros can face this threat on their own. So, what the fans are going to see is different characters from across the fictitious world come together in order to fight their common enemy.
The actor teased that while filming for the new season he worked with fellow cast members, who he had previously only met during the red carpet events of the show. When and how these characters will come together in “Game of Thrones” season 7 remains to be seen, Cunningham teased.
Cunningham apparently has a theory about the show, but didn’t wish to go into details about it because it could be a possible spoiler. Whether or not he is right will become “pretty obvious soon-ish,” he said.
Talking specifically about the female characters of the show, Cunningham said that it is not advisable to take eyes off them because they could poison, stab, burn or find ways to kill other major characters. The actor pointed out that even though the show is set in the fantasy world in a medieval era with a patriarchal society; the most dangerous characters on the show are actually the women.
Cunningham pointed to female characters Cersei (Lena Headey), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) as some examples of dangerous female characters on the show. Even though Arya has faced challenges over the years and wasn’t able to play a role in the big game in Westeros, she got her act together in the previous season and emerged as a major player.
Meanwhile, there is a new casting confirmation of “Game of Thrones” season 7. According to the resume of Megan Parkinson posted on Independent Talent, she will be playing the role of a character called Alys Karstark. The character appears to be one in the storyline unfolding in the North.
