'Game of Thrones' season 7 trailer 2 confirms major spoilers
A new trailer of “Game of Thrones” season 7 has been released online. The video teases fierce battles and exciting scenes. The following article contains spoilers.
The trailer begins with Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) walking alone in the north with valuable advice from Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen) via a voiceover telling her about fighting battles in the mind. There are at least four major action sequences in the show this year: a naval battle, a siege in a castle, a fight against the White Walkers beyond the Wall and a horde of Dothraki attacking with Daenerys Targaryen’s (Emilia Clarke) dragons.
Jon Snow (Kit Harington) can then be heard imploring a united front against the White Walkers, which is essentially the only big threat the kingdoms of Westeros needs to be worried about instead of their internal squabbles for power. The King in the North will venture beyond the Wall with a small raiding party and fight a few White Walkers and wights.
Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer) will be back this year, and he will be involved in some fighting, too. One of the scenes shows him igniting his sword with fire as though he was igniting a lightsaber. He will be joining Jon Snow in the fight beyond the Wall. Tormund (Kristofer Hivju) also appears to be part of the raiding party.
The kraken sigil on the ships in one of the scenes confirms that Euron (Pilou Asbæk) will be involved in a naval battle against Yara (Gemma Whelan) and Theon (Alfie Allen). Things are not looking good for the young Greyjoys.
There could be another major death in “Game of Thrones” season 7. Sansa’s words towards the end of the trailer are grim. “The lone wolf dies, but the pack survives,” she said.
