Gang of Teenagers Terrorize Sydney Streets Using a Stun Gun
The Sydney streets we're alarmed because a gang of armed teenagers begun terrorizing after dark. The authorities claimed that the teenagers we're accused of committing theft. That is the main reason why the authorities formed a special unit called Strike Force Muller after a series of attacks just in two days.
The teenagers are allegedly equipped with a stun-gun that they used to threaten their victim. Luke Freudenstein, Acting Assistant Commissioner, stated that one of the guns has the same size with a small wallet; ruler shaped and is approximately 14cm long.
"These stun guns are extremely dangerous...you just don't know what kind of damage they will do," Freudenstein stated.
"The way they have been used is quite random and very worrying."
A teenager, 14 years of age, was arrested last Sept. 15 in Ultimo. The teen was charged with armed robbery with an offensive weapon and possessing a forbidden weapon and three counts of armed robbery with a dangerous weapon.
The first place that the gang attacked was a brothel located in Pyrmont. The gang attacked there Tuesday night wherein they threatened the staff using a baseball bat and a stun gun. Another incident of robbery was linked that happened on a Chippendale convenience store last Wednesday at around 9:30pm. A female customer, aged 27, was rushed to the hospital due to injuries to her arm because of the said incident.
The teen gang is travelling using a silver BMW sedan and a blue hatchback. The police believe that the gang drove off at a petrol station located in Rozelle without paying the bill for the gas before they tried to rob a cab leaving the driver with injuries on his neck. Then they stole a cab at Wolli Creek, after which, just around 1:30am they robbed the bag, cash and credit cards of a 19-year-old lady in Ashfield.
The incident didn't stopped there, using a stun gun; they threatened three men on Elizabeth Street in the city centre and an attendant to a service station. At around 6:15am the strike started again and threatened a 52-year-old taxi driver in Glebe.
