A couple of men were arrested for allegedly having sex in a public park.

Mark Beatty from Troy, 43, and Steven Bowden Junior from Waterford, 41, are accused of violating the open container ordinance and Public Lewdness in Waterford, UK. Police were summoned to the Old Champlain Canal Trail on Sunday afternoon. They found Mr Beatty and Mr Bowden consuming alcohol off pint glasses. Both of them were issued appearance tickets as, after police investigations, they were found to have had sex on the park bench on the trail.

The Waterford Police Department got a telephone call at about 2:20 pm. They were informed that both the men had been performing sexual activities in the public park. Mr Betty and Mr Bowden are expected to report at the Town Court on October 17.

BBC reported in September 2003 that Internet had been responsible for fuelling a new craze for public sex. The World Wide Web seems to have been over-burdened for the last 10 years with public sex images and videos from several countries such as Canada, Australia, Brazil, Barbados, Ireland, Denmark, Poland, Sweden, Norway and the United States. San Francisco and Vancouver are rumoured to be such cities where public or outdoor sex is performed quite frequently. The New York magazine reports that public sex is also frequent in New York City.

Several couples try public sex everyday, but it can be really tricky at times. Things can horribly go wrong as it did for a Chinese couple who wanted to try public sex under a tree in public park earlier in 2013. The interesting part is that their son was with them while they wanted to have the adventure.

The social media in China went viral about this video which shows a little boy who apparently demanded his parents to hurry up and finish what they started fast so that they could return home.
