Geelong gang-rape: CCTV footage reveals further details
Certain details related to the Geelong gang-rape have been captured on CCTV.
Hours after a 14-year-old girl was repeatedly gang-raped by four older men, exclusive CCTV footage reveals moments before the incident took place.
The footage, obtained by “A Current Affair,” shows the girl walking with her male friend towards the park where she would be attacked moments later.
The girl, seemingly in a joyful mood, appears to be talking to the 16-year-old boy as she casually moves to the park along the alleyway. Moments later, the boy was captured on camera as he was running back to the house party to seek help while the girl was being gang-raped by the attackers.
Detective Senior-Sergeant Jason Walsh told the media that the girl had given “horrific” and “awful” details of the incident. The drunk and violent men took the young girl to a nearby place and sexually assaulted her.
The Victoria Police released sketches of the suspects to reveal to the entire country how the rapists look like. Geelong has “wanted” posters with the suspects’ faces plastered all over the locality.
It was earlier reported that police had received numerous calls from public who wanted to help identify the attackers. The girl is reported to be recovering at home as she is surrounded by her family. While the teenage victim may physically recover soon, she is likely to carry a psychological burden of the incident for a long time.
The details of the suspects are as follows:
Suspect 1: Aged 25-30. 183cm tall. Muscly build. British accent.
Suspect 2: Mid 20s. 178cm tall. Bulky build.
Suspect 3: Youngish looking, 173cm tall. Australian accent.
