Emotions continue to run high and dramatic twists loom large over Port Charles on the episodes of “General Hospital” (“GH”) this week. On Monday, Sam (Kelly Monaco) continues to be confined at the hospital and is surprised to see not her leading man Jason (Billy Miller), but her former tormenter Franco (Roger Howarth). Spoilers hint that this unwelcome visit is the least thing that Sam needs – her health status is looking grim.

Jason, on the other hand, is busy confronting Liz (Rebecca Herbst) about her involvement with Franco, but she tells him to back off. Speaking of minding one’s own business, Kiki (Hayley Erin) lashes at Ava (Maura West) for meddling into her affairs. Other “General Hospital” cast members who will appear on the upcoming episodes include Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman), Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), Finn (Michael Easton), Morgan (Bryan Craig), Michael (Chad Duell), Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard).

“General Hospital” episodes this week will also feature Lulu, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), Alexis, Julian (William deVry), Laura, Kevin, Lucy, Jordan, Andre (Anthony Montgomery), Hayden and Nina (Michelle Stafford).

The show’s official website uploaded a preview video for Aug.8. In the trailer, Bobbie invites Jasper Jacks to her birthday party. Meanwhile, Finn tells Liz that Franco is good at covering his tracks. Speaking of Franco, he visits Sam at the hospital and wonders if she needs help to make her feel better. Morgan, on the other hand, asks Michael whether he’s been talking to Dillon about his bipolar medicine. Elsewhere, Ava orders Kiki to let go of Morgan for good. On the last scene, Carly tells Sonny that she’s not looking for Josslyn’s kidney donor anymore.

TV Guide reports that Tuesday’s run focuses on Bobbie’s big birthday celebration, wherein a big bombshell will be dropped on the guests. Meanwhile, Hayden is shocked to receive stunning information from Lulu.

On Wednesday, Finn opens up to Hayden, while Morgan grills Ava about something important. Elsewhere, Michael has a request from a newcomer.

Thursday’s episode centres on Jordan, who has an irresistible proposal to Andre. Alexis, on the other hand, turns to Julian for help. Laura accidentally listens in on Kevin’s discussion with Lucy.

“GH” will wrap the week with an episode that features Kristina, who is fuming mad with Alexis. Meanwhile, Liz confronts Franco and Finn makes damning accusation. Elsewhere, Lulu seeks closure for an unfinished business.
