Fans are in for a series of heart-stopping drama and suspense on “General Hospital” (“GH") this week. On Wednesday, Jason (Billy Miller) demands something from Liz (Rebecca Herbst), while Franco (Roger Howarth) opens up about his emotional trauma to someone who offers a sympathetic ear. Elsewhere, Anna (Finola Hughes) loses control over herself. Spoilers hint that Anna is still recovering from the knowledge that Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) is alive after all. As she mulls over her next steps, she will find herself in a heated confrontation with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Other “General Hospital” cast members who will appear on the upcoming episodes include Nathan (Ryan Paevey), Griffin (Matt Cohen), Sam (Kelly Monaco), Maxie (Kirsten Storms), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Julian (William DeVry), Lulu (Emme Rylan), Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright).

The show’s official website uploaded a preview video for May 4, offering a sneak peek of the latest instalment. On the first scene, Nathan tells Griffin, “It’s a pretty specific type of scar, and I know exactly how you got it.” Sam, on the other hand, informs Maxie that she may have a lead. Anna also figures in the teaser, as shares her theory with Dante: that Alexis is up to her neck in this. Speaking of Alexis, she tells Julian, “I’m not worried, I haven’t done anything.” The last scene features Jason lashing at Franco. “You won’t get inside of my son’s head like you’re trying to get inside of mine,” Jason says.

TV Guide reports that on Thursday, Sonny takes matters into his own hands, while Griffin opens up about himself to Anna. Elsewhere, Alexis finds herself facing off with Julian.

We Love Soaps reports that “GH” will wrap the week with an episode focusing on Carly as she begs Sonny about a crucial matter. Meanwhile, Dante and Lulu ponder about the options available, while complications surface at the PCPD.

On Monday, Sam visits Julian and confronts him if he was involved with Sonny’s shooting. Julian insisted he wasn’t. Sam reiterated what Molly said, that Alexis is only defending someone who is guilty for Julian’s sake. The episode also showed Andre reassuring Jordan that he has no feelings for Anna. Andre proved it by kissing her passionately, and the two made love after. Meanwhile, Nikolas confronted Rachel about the stash of diamonds in her makeup bag, and told her that if they are divorcing, they should divide their assets.

Tuesday’s episode, on the other hand, showed Anna accusing Alexis of killing Hale to protect Julian. Meanwhile, Franco gave Nina a sketch he did of her and explained that the drawing captured his pain when he realised they were over. Rachel, on the other hand, finds herself on a stalemate with Nikolas, and she develops a secret agenda involving him.
