Genesys Wealth Advisers cycling team will attempt to defend last year’s win by Ben Grenda and defend their teams classification when the Paradice Investment Management Goulburn to Sydney Cycle Classic is held on the 17th & 18th of September.

Genesys Wealth Advisers are currently leading the Cycling Australia National Road Series points table and also have four riders, Haas, Von Hoff, Shaw and Giacoppo all within the top ten NRS individual rider rankings.

In August the team claimed the top three overall placings in the Tour of Geelong with team member Patrick Shaw winning the recent Tour of the Murray and team member Steele Von Hoff taking second overall with five podium placings thoughout the tour. The team is well placed leading into this year’s Paradice Investment Management Goulburn to Sydney Cycle Classic.

“Ben did a great job in the prologue last year which set the team up for overall victory. I believe we can do well again this year, but we may find it harder in the prologue”. Team manager Andrew Christie-Johnston said.

The team entered for the 2011 Paradice Investment Management Goulburn to Sydney Cycle Classic is Nathan Haas, Steele Von Hoff, Campbell Flakemore, Pat Shaw, Anthony Giacoppo , Kyle Marwood, Kane Walker, Nathan Earle.

This year a short time trial by the Corporate riders will preceed the elites at Goulburns’ Victoria Park from 11am on Saturday the 17th of September with the historic 170km classic commencing on Sunday the 18th of September at 7.45am after the Simon Poidevin lead corporate charity ride departs Goulburn at first light.

The historic race departs Goulburn and follows the Hume Hwy to Berrima and passes through Mittagong, Bargo, Tahmoor, Picton and the Razorback Range before finishing to a friendly Camden welcome at 11.15am.
