‘Geordie Shore’ season 12 update: MTV releases new trailer; Scotty T speaks up about ‘Celebrity Big Brother UK’

Watch out Newcastle, the Geordies are back.

On Mar.15, the “Geordie Shore” gang returns on the small screen, promising to deliver more “necking on, kick-offs, drama, tears, tantrums and falling over.” Fans are highly anticipating the brand new season of the "Jersey Shore" spin-off, which features Scott Timlin, Charlotte Crosby, Holly Hagan, Gary "Gaz" Beadle, Aaron Chalmers, Nathan Henry and Chloe Etherington. Marnie Simpson also confirmed that she’ll be returning to the show, after her dramatic exit in the previous season.

MTV has released a sneak peek of the show’s series 12, showing the gang at what they do best – creating mayhem. The 45-second trailer, which fans are expecting to sum up the chaos that will happen in the new season, also features the arrival of two new Geordies – Chantelle Connelly and “Ex on the Beach” star Marty McKenna. In the teaser, Chantelle signals the things to come from her end, admitting that she aims to “put all the lads against each other.” She is even shown getting chummy with Aaron Chalmers, wrapping her arms around him. Marty, on the other hand, reveals that he’s “an absolute nightmare on a night out.”

Meanwhile, Scotty T recently took to Twitter to set the records straight regarding his interview with The Sun about “Celebrity Big Brother UK.” According to the publication, Scotty T claimed that his housemate Jeremy McConnell cheated on Stephanie Davis “as soon as he left Celebrity Big Brother.”

Scotty T was even quoted as saying, “To be honest, I think it’s quite funny. I see them doing this whole love thing, but then I hear he’s off sh--ging girls. I mean he sh--ged one of my mates, she’s called Caroline Pope.”

However, Scotty T denied that he made these claims, airing his side on his Twitter account. He wrote, “I did not say that Jeremy cheated, he wasn't in a relationship at that point any way! But it's not true ano for a fact he loved her #jefanie.”

“Geordie Shore” season 12 will air in the US starting on March 15, 10 p.m. on MTV.
