‘Geordie Shore’ Series 13 cast update: Marnie Simpson says she’ll be back for new season after ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ stint

After finishing fourth in “Celebrity Big Brother” UK (“CBB”), controversial reality TV star Marnie Simpson has confirmed that she’s returning to her first home, “Geordie Shore.”

At the finale of “CBB” on Friday, the 24-year-old celebrity confirmed her comeback, according to a report by Digital Spy. “There’s a lot of things that need to be discussed. But I'll probably be still going back.” She recently took to Twitter to thank her fans for the support, writing, “Just wanna say a massive thank you to EVERYONE who voted for me. Can't thank you all enough! Love you ALL !!!!”

While the “Geordie Shore” favourite made fans happy with this news, this might mean that her relationship with housemate Lewis Bloor will soon be over. Marnie said that the “The Only Way is Essex” star would “definitely not” appear on “Geordie Shore.” She told Digital Spy, “Obviously we both live such separate lives so it's definitely going to be a struggle trying to make it work as good as it did in the house.”

Bloor posted a sweet congratulatory message on Twitter, sharing, “So so proud what an amazing girl @ MarnieGShore met the most special girl very lucky boy luv ya well done girl.”

Also among those who congratulated Marnie is “Geordie Shore” alum Charlotte Crosby. Marnie apparently called her gal pal after the final episode of “CBB.” Charlotte wrote, “I can't put into words how proud I am of my @ MarnieGShore she is my sister and one of my best friends and she absolutely smashed it!”

While the BFFs miss each other and seem to be in need of a massive gab fest, Charlotte won’t be returning to “Geordie Shore” after her exit on Series 12. When a fan asked the 26-year-old celebrity whether she’ll come back for another season, she wrote, “Sadly not. But I will continue to watch my mad little family and their antics.”
