'Geordie Shore' Series 13 update: After Charlotte Crosby’s sensational exit, Chantelle Connelly follows suit

Shooting for the “Geordie Shore” series 13 is not going smoothly, reports say, as a couple of its stars have allegedly quit the reality show.

Chantelle Connelly is one of the colourful characters who won’t be appearing in the next season, after walking out in the middle of a shoot. The 26-year-old former stripper only joined “Geordie Shore” in series 12, and was last seen in a special set of episodes titled, “Big Birthday Battles.”

While filming in Greece, Chantelle allegedly walked out and flew back to the UK to be with her ex-boyfriend Tommy Sayers. The “Geordie Shore” cast members are currently in Kavos for the upcoming season. “Chantelle’s heart hasn’t been in it since the cast started filming the new series,” a source told The Sun. “She has a lot of history with Tommy and it was either him or the show so she decided to quit for love.”

Earlier this month, Geordie Shore favourite Charlotte Crosby announced that she’s quitting the show after dropping her bombshell: she underwent an ectopic pregnancy. The 26-year-old reality TV star took to Twitter to say that she was leaving in the middle of ranting against former boyfriend and co-star Gaz Beadle.

“Sadly because a certain some1 can’t admit to being in the wrong and have to write a short story full of excuses. I have made the very hard decision to [l]eave the show, it’s something I have went back and forth with for a while now. But I am willing to sacrifice that part of my career in order to be well away from,” she wrote.

In another tweet, Charlotte also wrote, “I’m proud that even tho it's my last ep I gave it my all! And went out on a high! Hope you all enjoy it as I did experiencing it.”

Apart from Chantelle, “Geordie Shore” lad Aaron Chalmers has also said this would be his last series, according to The Sun. In a recent tweet, the 25-year-old hunk said he’s never leaving the show.
