George Clooney might be getting married anytime in London. As per the Mirror, he had secret arrangements to tie the nuptials in London before flying to Venice as 'man and wife' with Amal Alamuddin for the formal gathering and reception.

Various rumours are circulating in the media regarding the highly anticipated wedding. The Mirror claimed that Clooney will be getting married anytime at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London. Fans and paparazzi have been hounding the place to catch the first glimpse of the newlywed couple.

The number of people gathered in the area prompted church authorities to put a notice for the general public explaining that the wedding was not going to take place on Friday. In addition, members of the said church also reportedly warned the media people to stay away from the property to refrain from disturbing other couples getting married. Their clarification and warnings, however, did not deter eagerly waiting fans and paparazzi to camp out the church.

As declared by Clooney recently, he had met his fiancée Amal Alamuddin in Italy. This is the reason the couple chose Venice as the destination for their wedding. Speaking at the Celebrity Fight Night event, the 53-year-old actor and producer revealed the details on his wedding and shared that he cannot wait to be a married man.

The much awaited Venice wedding is anticipated to be a weekend affair, which will commence of September 26. The event will be attended by those in the couple's inner circles of friends and loved ones, which totaled to roughly 60 guests. As reported by Hello magazine, the short guest will include high profile celebrities from Hollywood like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jenifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, U2 Singer Bono, Matt Damon and Ellen Barkin.

Earlier speculations that the venue of the wedding will be the actor's $31 million lakeside villa in Italy had been debunked. In a more recent report, the couple has actually chosen an island off the coast in Venice to maintain maximum security and privacy of the event since a wedding at the villa would have been too public due to its location. However, the villa will be used to house the guests for further celebrations following the wedding.
