George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin Spend Christmas Holidays In Mexico With Cindy Crawford And Randy Gerber
The newlyweds Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney were recently spotted at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with their pals Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. The close friends, who are reportedly spending the Christmas vacations together, were seen having a sumptuous lunch at a beach. Clooney's wife was seen in a lime-green Kaftan, where as former model Cindy Crawford donned a pink beach ensemble.
Clooney gave up his signature formal style for a relaxed beach look. He was seen sporting a grey t-shirt and a pair of shorts, according to Daily Mail. Both the couples have adjoining holiday homes in Mexico. Gerber has been a big fan of Cabo San Lucas. He and Clooney reportedly decided to build holiday homes at a beach so that they have a common place to unwind, with their families. "Long before the houses were built, we would travel to Baja together, staying at different hotels and drinking tequila," said Gerber to Architecture Digest.
Meanwhile, this is one of the several outings the Clooney couple has taken with Crawford and Gerber since getting married. The 53-year-old actor, Gerber and Crawford have been friends for a long time now. Entrepreneur Gerber acted as George Clooney's best man during the actor's lavish wedding in Venice.
Gerber thinks that Alamuddin is perfect for Clooney. "She's really perfect for him, she is smart and she's beautiful, engaging. She is, again... smart, but she doesn't make you feel stupid," he said to People.
Clooney and Alamuddin got married in October. There wedding celebrations continued for three days. More than 100-guests, including John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, Vogue's Anna Wintour and Bill Murray, Matt Damon and his wife Luciana, and Crawford, attended the wedding.
For the wedding, the 36-year-old lawyer wore a wedding gown by Oscar de la Renta. Her French lace gown featured diamante and pearls embroidery and had a circular train. The Clooney couple reportedly wanted a "romantic" and "elegant" wedding and that is why Alamuddin chose a dress by Renta, according to US Vogue. The Oscar winning actor wore a custom made tuxedo by Giorgio Armani.
