A-list actor George Clooney comes clean, taking time Wednesday and released statement strongly denying cheating allegations written of him and his former fling, Monika Jakisic, while filming his latest project in Europe.

Noting that the cheating rumours is completely “made-up,” Clooney slams the report by In Touch magazine, urging the news outlet to put an end to it.

"The story is made up. I wasn't holding anybody's hand. Stop trying to sell magazines by creating scandal that isn't there," Clooney said in a statement, according to AceShowbiz.com.

George was referring to the story run by In Touch describing him having a great time with his old flame while away from girlfriend, Stacy Keibler. Quoting a source, In Touch said that George was oblivious of everyone around him just being around Monica in a London club.

"They seemed to be having a great old time together. He didn't seem to care who saw them. He was being openly affectionate," the source was quoted as telling In Touch, said AceShowbiz.com.

The source added, “Lots of people were going up and saying hi to George - he didn't leave Monika's side. The place was packed but he didn't seem to care who saw them inside the club. They were laughing and looked very comfortable together and were there 'til very late."

The report noted, however, that George was careful not to be seen leaving the club with Monica and they left separately.

The source said, "He left first and she left after him. He didn't want to be photographed with her. Maybe she was a shoulder for him to cry on - not that he looked like he was crying. He looked very happy - they were smitten with each other."

George is currently filming "The Monuments Men" with Matt Damon, when the cheating allegations emerged online.
