George Clooney has done Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything), and he’s as forthright as ever. He has shared some revealing things, including his embarrassing film, how Brad Pitt’s prank ruined his reputation, and his thoughts on Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s Golden Globe joke at his expense.

At the recent Golden Globe Awards, Tina and Amy, who were hosting the show, took aim at George during their opening monologue, and it was arguably one of the funniest bits of the night.

Tina said the film “Gravity” is the story of how George would rather float away in space and die than spend another minute with a woman of his own age, referring to his co-star Sandra Bullock.

The reference was on George’s penchant of dating women younger than him. His last known girlfriend was wresting diva Stacy Keibler, who, at 34 years old, is 18 years his junior.

Tina and Amy’s joke had the audience, including Sandra, laughing hard, but George was nowhere in the audience so no one was able to gauge his reaction.

Apparently, he was totally cool with being the butt of the joke.

“Usually it’s pretty funny. You know I got really good by Tina and Amy the other day and I’m working on getting them back in a big way. But for the most part most of the time it’s bad it’s actually funny. You actually feel bad for the comedians up on stage cause you know if you’ve ever gone to a comedy club and you see somebody bomb it makes you cringe,” he wrote.

“Shows like that are designed to have fun with you without being devastatingly unkind. I’ve been the target of a couple of stupid jokes that didn’t work out, but in general I’ve only seen a couple that were really vicious toward people, and they didn’t work. When they don’t work you feel badly for the person doing it.”

But compared to Brad Pitt’s pranks, Tina and Amy’s quip seemed so tame.

When asked what was the best prank that a co-star has played on him, the A-lister recalled Brad’s joke, which had his reputation on set slightly torn.

“We were shooting ‘Oceans 12’ in my hometown in Lake Como and he had a flier sent around saying George only wants to be called by his character’s name Danny Ocean, don’t look him in the eyes, and it got into the local paper.

“As you know, jokes don’t translate at all, and they called me il divo, and said that I was treating the crew like sh**. When it got into the paper I came downstairs and Brad had the paper in his hand, and I said, ‘You’re mine from here on out.’

“Brad just said, ‘Please don’t harm my children.’ Yeah, he has done some pretty rotten things.”

George also admitted that he was pretty embarrassed about the nipples on his costume when he played Batman in the 1997 flick “Batman and Robin.”

“Well I wasn’t thrilled with the nipples on the batsuit. You know that’s not something you really think about when you’re putting it on. You figure all batsuits have nipples and then you realise yours was really the first. Batman was just constantly cold I guess.”

George also answered enthusiastically questions about his Satellite Sentinel Project, which conducts monitoring of the border between Sudan and South Sudan to identify potential threats to civilians and deter war crimes and crimes against humanity.

He also encouraged Redditors to enter a raffle at Omaze for a chance to hang out with him at the premiere of his film “Mountain Men.”
