According to reports by New York Post's Page Six, Clooney popped up a question to Amal on April at his apartment in Studio Six, California.

A source revealed to publication that Clooney was delighted to cook for his ladylove and later proposed to her.

"He was so happy she accepted, he was calling friends with the news later that night," the insider is quoted as saying.

The publication has further reported that Clooney and Alamuddin are more than eager to get married and they can very well tie the knot this fall.

"It's only four months away, but they want to get married at the end of the summer, in early September, before Amal returns to work," a second source said
