George Clooney Takes Wife Amal Clooney Out To A Dinner Date After Golden Globes Ceremony
George Clooney reportedly loves taking his wife Amal Clooney out to dinner dates. Soon after making his first Golden Globe appearance as a married man, the actor took his wife on a dinner night out at his favourite restaurant, Craig's, in West Hollywood.
The newlyweds were seen making their way to the eatery in a black Chevrolet SUV. The duo reportedly looked gorgeous in matching black outfits. Amal sported a black custom-made Dior gown and paired her look with white gloves and earrings. She wore her hair loose and kept her makeup minimal. Meanwhile, George wore a black tuxedo.
Amal reportedly made quite an impression on fashion critics during the Golden Globes ceremony. Her sartorial style was even compared with that of Audrey Hepburn's, according to Daily Mail. George was honoured with the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the event. In his acceptance speech, the actor gushed about his wife and how he finds himself lucky to be Amal's better half.
"It's a humbling thing when you find someone to love. Whatever alchemy it is that brought us together, I couldn't be more proud to be your husband," the actor said according to Daily Mail.
The glamorous couple got married in September in Venice. Their wedding celebrations continued for three days. Since exchanging vows, they have been spotted on various dates and have also taken vacations. They reportedly spent their Christmas holidays in Mexico with friends Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. They are also planning to take a trip to Ireland. According to Irish Independent, George wants to visit his ancestral home with wife Amal. He has reportedly never been there.
In other news, George is currently gearing up for a sci-fi venture "Tomorrowland." He will play the character of Frank Walker in the film. Directed by Brad Bird, the film tells the story of a genius inventor who goes on a mission to unearth the secrets of a place that exists somewhere in time and space. George has been cast with Britt Robertson, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hayn, Hugh Laurie, Pierce Gagnon and others. The film is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2015.
