George Michael acquires a $6 million pad in Sydney
George Michael recently spent AU$6million to buy a home at Sydney's Whale Beach following an extended vsit to Australia, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Reports say that the two-time Grammy winner purchased a polished three-story, five bedroom apartment along Whale Beach Road, overlooking the Palm Beach cliffs.
The home, said to be "ideal for entertaining", has a lap pool, glass walls, a terrace and a huge deck.
Earlier this year, the star was in Sydney for two months during his world tour.
He was supposed to stay for only a few days in February but extended his visit and partook in Sydney's gay and lesbian festival and staged a surprise performance at the official Mardi Gras party.
The singer, whose boyfriend is in England, was seen kissing an attractive Aussie man on a romantic cruise in north Sydney during his visit.
According to a source, Michael has fallen in love with Sydney and its men.
"He loves Aussie guys ... loves Sydney and plans to split his time between here and London," the source said.
