Guess who's coming home for the holidays? Well, George Michael finally is.

Five weeks in the hospital battling pneumonia was quite the ordeal for the English singer. According to Rolling Stone, he had to cancel a few tour dates for his Symphonic Orchestral tour due to hospitalization last month at the AKH Clinic in Vienna.

Michael was rushed to the hospital during a concert Nov. 21. He was diagnosed with the respiratory ailment and according to specialists who took care of the singer, weeks of bed rest were needed before he could travel again.

Thankfully, the "Faith" singer has recovered and will be expected to be home for the holidays. Michael was discharged around 8 a.m. and without delay hopped on a plane to London.

"He's feeling a lot better. He's doing so well, he's able to fly again," a hospital spokesman told a Vienna paper as mentioned on E! News Online.

"We know he's doing fine and we are generally optimistic," said Christoph Zielinski, one of Michael's doctors, as interviewed on News.com.au.

The artist's tour is said to resume by next year. As the former frontman of Wham! says that the revised itinerary for the show will be out by 2012 along with the whole tour.

Everyone wanting to be part of the great Symphonica tour will hear a set of songs from all through his musical career. Michael would also cover a few songs by the Police, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna and New Order. All these performances will be accompanied by a full orchestra which is definitely something to look forward to.

As for the singer, fans all over the world are praying for his quick recovery. Everyone else is looking forward to his Symphonic orchestral tour to resume.
