Now that Scary Spice is out, "Australia's Got Talent" might turn to Ginger Spice. Channel Nine is reportedly considering Geri Halliwell to replace Melanie Brown as the newest judge on the talent show after a court order prevented the latter from appearing on any Australian network other than Channel Seven.

On Thursday, Seven was granted an injunction in the NSW Supreme Court, preventing Mel B from working for other networks until its exclusivity contract with her expires on January 31, 2014. The network went after the Spice Girl in court after learning that she had signed a deal with rival network Nine to become a judge on their programme.

Mel B claimed in court that she thought she was a free agent since she would not be appearing on Seven's "The X Factor" this year.

However, Justice David Hammerschlag ruled otherwise. She is now effectively forbidden to work for other Australian networks.

This means that Nine has to fill in the spot vacated by Mel B, and it apparently already has someone in mind. Geri is the frontrunner to replace her co-Spice Girl in the show.

According to Sydney Morning Herald, Nine has been holding discreet talks with the singer in case Mel B lost in court. And now that it's clear Mel B won't be able to fulfil her judging duties with the network, Nine is now seriously asking Ginger Spice for the role.

Other names are also being considered, including Sharon Osbourne, but it's Geri's name that is being mentioned loudly.

Meanwhile, Seven hasn't announced yet if it still wants Mel B to return to the show.
