A German karate teacher in the northern part of Romania recorded videos of local young boys naked and circulated the video clips on a Web site based in Canada. This Canadian Web site is, according to the police, probably one of the biggest child porn rackets in the world, Romania-Insider reports.

Markus Rudolph Roth, the German man who is also a businessman, served time in his own country for offences related to child pornography. Mr Roth then moved to Romania for work and started teaching karate at a local school in 2004. He won the trust of the young boys and their parents who belong to the nearby villages.

Mr Roth was able to convince the young boys to 'act' in films where they had to pose nude. He allegedly sold the films to Azovfilms.com based in Canada. The Web site came under radar when the international police captured its proprietor Brian Way who is a Canadian as well. Last week, 108 Canadians as well as 76 Americans were arrested in a raid worldwide and 164 other people were also arrested from other parts of the world.

Mr Roth was, on the other hand, convicted by the Romanian police in 2010. He served time for another couple of years facing child pornography charges and got released in 2012. He did a job as a business administrator in a German company in Romania and got involved in making furniture. He taught martial arts for free to young people in the area, which understandably made him popular among them.

Maria Reiz, the principal of one of the schools where Mr Roth approached with the proposal to teach karate to young boys, said that she had been approached by him as he wanted to teach karate to the young boys in the school. She thought that Mr Roth was quite polite and he had to convince many people for taking up the job. He promised the principal that he would buy a photocopier for the school if he was hired. Ms Reiz eventually decided against it and Mr Roth started teaching in a primary school.

Most of the boys whom Mr Roth taught karate, however, seem to be in awe with him; The Black Sea reports.
