Three Germans were in the final table of the PokerStars anniversary event and it was only apt that one from that country won the event. The player with the moniker “DrUPSWING” won the Sunday Million tournament and over $1 million. Another German, “hdjgkfkgsdl” settled for a runner-up finishes for over $877,000.

The online tournament had a $215 buy-in and drew a total of 46,586 runners. The total prize pool was set at $9,317,200 and 5,997 players made the money. The number of players in this tournament is the fourth biggest Sunday Million event ever in the popular online poker room.

The winning hand was when DrUpswing made trips with just jack-deuce up against his compatriots’ king-queen on a board that featured a pair of twos and a king.
