Everyone knows how much Adele swept majority of the awards at the recent Grammy Awards held last February 12. And it was during her acceptance speech that she revealed the inspiration of her award winning album '21' was a past heart wrenching relationship.

According to the New York Post, Adele made it seemingly like an open secret that the one who broke her heart in the past is Slinky Sunbeam or by the real name of Slinky Winfield. So what is with 'Slinky' that made the 'Rolling in the Deep' singer fell so deeply for him then?

A particular insider shared that Adele must have been truly attracted to his charm, but probably not so much with his AKA. The source said that the lucky guy then is also a musician and the type of guy who is popular around every party.

The two even met in South London after Adele has already released several hits. The award winning singer said that they somehow 'grew apart' as the relationship was counting time but many other rumours were spreading that there was more to it than that.

With the news that her ex is now getting steady with a Burberry model can already give you a hint on some of the other reasons.

No matter how painful the relationship turned out to be for Adele, she admits that it brought so much change and lesson in her life. It was through the '21' album that she was able to move on and forgive her ex and now is happy with her boyfriend, Simon Konecki.
