Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid looked very cosy together in an Instagram photo shared by the former One Direction band member.

Malik took to Instagram recently to share a photo of himself with Victoria’s Secret model Hadid, E!News reported. In the black and white picture, the former One Direction band member had his eyes closed while Hadid's face was pressed against Malik's cheek and her right hand positioned near the musician’s left cheek. Malik left the photo uncaptioned.

Dating speculations between the two celebrities started when Malik and Hadid were seen together at the American Music Awards' after party held in November. This was followed by several restaurant outings, in which in one instance, eyewitness shared with E! News that the two “couldn’t keep their hands off each other.” The insider shared that “they were holding hands under the table, whispering in each others' ears, and Zayn [was] holding Gigi's leg. Gigi was so attached to him that she even followed Zayn outside to the patio during a smoke break."

The two were also photographed holding hands when they left Los Angeles’ The Nice Guy restaurant a few weeks ago.

However, sources told E! News that Hadid’s friends were baffled with the supermodel’s attraction to Malik. The source said "her friends do not quite understand what the attraction is. He is not her usual type, he doesn't share her sense of humor or ease with people [and] he's a little more self-aware and awkward."

Meanwhile, an insider previously revealed to Us Weekly that Hadid and Malik’s dating was a “new thing” that the two are trying out. “They’re just seeing where it goes,” the insider stated.

The supermodel is currently single after splitting from Joe Jonas in November. The two dated for five months before their separation. Malik, on the other hand, split from fiancée Little Mix's Perrie Edwards in July.
