Now on its second season, the BBC2 hit Belfast-based crime thriller "The Fall" is set to begin this week. Lead actors Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan are set to reprise their roles as DSI Stella Gibson and serial killer Paul Spector who is on the run after the last season finale.

"Hannibal" actress Gillian Anderson warns fans to "expect the unexpected" in the "The Fall" season 2 and will be treated with "shocking" episodes for the upcoming season. The 45-year-old star is set to jet into Northern Ireland this week and will reunite with "Fifty Shades" co-star Jamie Dornan who just finished wrapping his shoot for the erotic movie.

"I've read the scripts and viewers are going to be so shocked. I can't give anything away except to tell you to expect the unexpected. You won't believe what's going to happen," revealed Anderson in an interview posted on Belfast Telegraph.

According to the interview, Anderson is excited to be back in Belfast as she loves filming there and delighted to be back working alongside the Hollywood-born actor. Dornan is playing the most coveted role as Christian Grey in E.L. James book adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey."

"I'm looking forward to catching up with Jamie Dornan. His career has just taken off. Look how well he is doing. It's going to be so good. He's done so well," the former "X-Files" actress adds.

The filming of "The Fall" season 2 is expected to last for four months and with additional episode to cover more storyline. The BBC2 series was initially scheduled to begin filming in January, but due to Anderson's "Hannibal" commitments and Dornan's "Fifty Shades" schedule the shoot was put back until February.

"The Fall" producer Julian Stevens even teased fans when he posted a photo of Gillian's trailer on his Twitter account as the first day of the shooting kicks off. The cast and crew of the series is sworn in secrecy over the shoot locations due to the increasing popularity of the two lead stars.
