This new development must be ringing Christmas bells to the ears of Bethe Correia, Fallon Fox, Cris "Cyborg" Justino" and Cat Zingano.

Dana White went on a profanity laced tirade against the front runner opponent of his biggest draw in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) -- Gina Carano. Fox Sports was first to report the diatribe of White who blamed the failed negotiations to the Hollywood handlers of the former Strikeforce and Elite XC fighter.

"The hardest human being we've ever dealt with and I didn't see it coming," White said about trying to sign Carano. "I don't know, we'll see how these things play out. Just incredibly difficult. We've dealt with (Brock) Lesnar, Tito (Ortiz), Chuck (Liddell) was f--king king of the world, Ronda Rousey, we've pretty much done deals with everyone on Earth and she is the hardest f--king athlete we have ever dealt with."

White also did not delve into the details of the broken down negotiations, but he placed the blame solely on the Hollywood handlers of Carano. Negotiations for a Carano-Rousey super fight began last July, but talks got so bad that White pulled out from the negotiations and sent his second in rank, Lorenzo Fertitta to handle the talks. Even Fertitta relayed that he also experienced a great ordeal to make Carano's side amenable to a deal.

Rousey was put on record as wanting to fight as an undercard in the Jon Jones-Daniel Cormier re-scheduled match on Jan. 3 dubbed as UFC 182. However, with Carano essentially being not in the cards, White has to look for alternatives.

Cat Zingano is first option

The UFC President also revealed during the same interview that new development now pushes Cat Zingano in pole position to challenge the women's bantamweight position, but there is a catch -- she must defeat first her next opponent Amanda Nunes at UFC 178. That is no easy task either as the newcomer to the UFc scene is sporting a 2-0 record with both wins coming by submission.

"Cat's No. 1. Yep (she's next). Yep (makes sense)," White answered when asked about facing Rousey in Las Vegas.

The come backing Zingano is ardent to prove that she has no rust in her return to the Octagon. She recently was shelved for more than a year due to knee issues. Now, all she has to do and dispose of Nunez and she has a shot at the title.
