The girls, who are in Australia on a tour, ruled out the fact that they are feminists in their thoughts in any way.
"I wouldn't say we're feminists: we don't hate our men," band member Prinnie Edwards told Confidential.
"We love our men," added Jesy Nelson but the band members believe that since the girls go through a lot of emotional and physical upheaval and should stay together for the sake of sisterhood.
"We're just very passionate about girls sticking together and the sisterhood of things. Girls go through a lot more than men - such as periods - and it's better to stick together instead of bitching and hating. We're a stronger force," Edwards continued.
The girls are a success story ever since they won the UK X-Factor. They gave a worldwide hit with their debut album "DNA." Their singles "Wings" and "Change Your Life" have been topping the Aussie countdown site ARIA too.
Their new single "Move" will be released in the UK on November 3, while their second album "Salute" is slated for a November 11 release.
The former X Factor winners made a comeback of sorts on Sunday night at the Australian version of X-Factor where Robin Thicke and Katy Perry were the guest stars. The girls performed their new single "Move" on X Factor Australia in Sydney and were happy to see amazing response to their music.
