'Girl Meets World' season 3 episode 5: Maya and Riley’s friendship is tested through art in 'Girl Meets Triangle'

In “Girl Meets World” Season 3’s fifth episode, the story line becomes concentrated on Maya Hart (Sabrina Carpenter) . The episode is called “Girl Meets Triangle.”

The episode focuses on Maya’s interest in art. It also looks into the state of Maya’s friendship with Riley. The official synopsis says that Maya will undergo an identity crisis. In fact, her dilemma kicks into full gear with the help of her art teacher. The teacher made Maya realize that her artist’s voice is being compromised by her friendship with Riley, Girl Meets World Wikia reports.
It is also a question of whether the episode with showcase the dynamics of a relationship triangle among Maya, Lucas and Riley. This speculation was based on the episode’s title. However, it has been observed that the relationship dilemma between the three has remained to be in a limbo since the last season. The characters do not talk about it, as well.
However, viewers think that sooner or later the relationship triangle issue would have to be brought up. It was noted if it were in realistic situations, these characters would be talking about the relationship dilemma already and that the issue being in limbo for too long is not truthful at all.
In other “Girl Meets World” news, the “Boy Meets World” character Mr. Feeny, played by William Daniels, will be turning up in one of the episodes in the third season. This speculation was confirmed by Daniels himself. It is expected that the said episode will be aired in August.
Mr. Feeny was Cory Matthew’s mentor on various points of his life. From his childhood, Mr. Feeny will also be a guiding star for the next generation. Viewers express a feeling of nostalgia for the character and a liking for him. It is said that bringing back old characters and occasionally guesting them on “Girl Meets World” seems lovely especially for the fans of the old show. Also some viewers are looking forward into having a third generation for the show, wherein Riley and Maya will be visiting with their own children, Carter Matt reports.
